Services Offered
What types of massage therapy services are available?
Massage therapy can be helpful for everybody since the therapist is able to modify treatments within the patients limitations. We offer hands on massage treatments with hydrotherapy (heat packs or ice if needed), as well as homecare that includes exercises and stretches that can help alleviate the condition of the patient. Also simple, but helpful hints for patients to modify their daily tasks so they can continue working and playing with less pain.
Who should avoid massage therapy sessions with student RMTs?
Anyone advised by their physician against receiving a massage. Also, people with open ICBC and Worksafe claims should avoid massage therapy due to the potential of compromising their insurance coverage outcomes.

During the Session
What can clients expect during a typical massage therapy session?
During a typical massage treatment, an assessment will be conducted to ensure that the therapist can provide a safe and effective session. The assessment will include some basic questions and movement tests. Once the assessment is completed, the hands-on portion of the treatment can begin. Before the treatment is over, the patient will be asked to re-dress, and the therapist will return to the room to check in with the patient.
Are there any post-massage recommendations or tips for clients?
The therapist gives some instructions that the patient can do at home to continue alleviating their aches and pains.
Is there a follow-up process for future appointments or treatments?
The student will help the patient back to the lobby and book future appointments. Clients can also book via the Jane-App at their own convenience.
How can clients provide feedback about their experience?
Clients can fill out the feedback sheets at the front desk anonymously.
